    Not a lot

When we arrived to take up 2 rooms both reeked of smoke. These were supposed to be none smoking. Advised reception and they immediately arranged for us to move. The hotel is ideal if you just want a place to sleep, anything else, forget it!

    Very good

Value for money no frills budget accommodation.

The hotel is tucked away on an industrial park and it is difficult to find. More signage is required directing visitors to it from the main road.

    Superb

Staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms are small but surprisingly well- equipped and very clean. All the facilities were very clean and the staff happy to help. For the price you do not expect luxury but it was comfortable and quiet and we had a good nights sleep. We chose a twin room but the staff offered us a double on arrival.

    Fabulous

The staff were very accommodating and friendly, and the hotel was clean - if very basic. Of course, I understood it would be basic before going, but was very pleased with how comfortable the bed was. The sheets were crisp and white, and the room was reasonably well equipped for a short stay: kettle, tea, coffee, milk, mugs, glasses and a hairdryer. Big tv as well, and free wifi (apparently - didn't use it). Remarkably value for money. Nothing was broken or direty.

The hotel is not in a great position, but anyone who looks at a map before going will realise this. It's not very elegant, and my room faced a large flyover with lots of traffic. I was initially worried about traffic noise, but a) the window was well-sealed and double-glazed (wouldn't be good if you wanted it open at night), and b) all I could hear was a dull, constant roar, which wasn't like the stop-start of street traffic. It was easy to get to sleep, and I'm a light sleeper. There isn't really anywhere to get food, but staff had take-away menus for food to be delivered, or there is a McDonalds and an Asda with a café within 10 minutes walk. If you like diy and home-ware shops, these are abundant locally.

    Exceptional

The price compared to a Premierinnn is superb and the facilities not too far behind.....A Complimentary pack of biscuits in the room would add that little touch :)

That you still allow smoking in some rooms......this habit is just not acceptable inside buildings in this day and age. There is a distinct whiff of fags in corridors, etc.

    Superb

Although the location was a bit unusual we were most impressed by the friendliness and warmth of our hosts, Richard and Katie. Katie, in particular made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. She has great people skills.

Access from the bunk bed. The ladder is terrible - especially if you are over 40!

    Superb

If you ask they give you access to unlimited free internet via wifi. It was nice and quiet during my stay so I had a good nights sleep. They have massive flat screen TV in every room with lots of channels.

    The room was clean

It should be clearer that the rooms did not have their own toilet and/or shower facilities - this would be much more beneficial than the huge flat screen television in the room. Additionally, it was very hot in our room so we slept with the window open, however we were kept awake all night by talking amoungst staff from the reception area, so did not enjoy our stay very much.

Found a horrible mess in the toilet which I had to alert staff to.
